When I started studying herbalism and healing, I found this beautiful delicate little flower many years ago. I was going through a hard time related to anxiety and lack of sleep, and the Lavender essential oil helped heal little by little. Especially its fragrance is very therapeutic and makes me feel at peace. Also, the color and the texture of its flowers calms my anxiety when I have it in my hand.   Family is one of the most beautiful concepts worldwide, yet it is tough to keep up with love and respect. Why is this? It is because we all as individuals have different ways of seen things, reacting to events, and showing love. Respect is one of the ingredients that sometimes we forget to apply, and we could break the most amazing bond in this world, family love and trust. There is a special technique that helps me meditate, which takes me mentally to Tibet. Originally silk painting is mostly related to China as a long traditional form of art. Tibet has some strong roots in this technique also. As I paint, I feel connected to the Buddhist monks in Tibet and how they use art to meditate and connect to their inner selves. Understanding the process of growing and learning is a real challenge, but mother nature is a great teacher. When you observe how plants and flowers grow on a vine is the clearest and best example of how we grow. You see flowers and leaves tangle and untangle as they make it to their way up the vine. Life is the same. You must tangle and untangle. In other words, we make mistakes, and we fail to be able to learn. Mother nature is bleeding because we are not taking care of her, and we are ungrateful. We need to act and protect our planet for future generations. This design tries to create consciousness about how we need pure air, green spaces, and a place to protect animals. Every time there is a wildfire, thousands of acres are destroyed, animals are killed, and a great loss happens.   One of the things that always called my attention as an Art History student was Asian designs. I love how they use black backgrounds to create an elegant and organized image that gives you a sense of peace and control. They usually put isolated elements or icons on the background, making it look clean and visually harmonic to the eye. The use of golden colors or gold leave gives the design a delicate look. Traveling around the world is one of the things I enjoy the most. Taking the time to learn, understand and admire this world is the best gift that you can give to yourself.  When I paint in my art studio, I love to get some inspiration from many artists worldwide, and this design was an inspiration from the patterns that Klimt used in The Kiss. His artwork moves my soul, and how he uses color and pattern inspire me to create my designs and artwork. At all, this work has something of Seurat, and his pointillism and how many colors together make magic in a piece of artwork.   When I think of moorlands, I always think about how something can even grow up so high. There is a lack of oxygen because of the high altitude, and its land is very rocky. The thing is that I am very wrong about my perception and how I see something! When I go on hikes to this amazing place on planet earth, I see the most exquisite variation of flowers, plants, leaves with the most amazing colors that you could ever imagine seeing in such type of terrain. This moves me to think how in such an arid landscape, the miracle of life happens. Making a connection with our own lives is similar to what happens to us when we are in pain, when we don't see the light, when we lost all hope and think nothing good can come out of us, we forget to see that in those arid times of life the most beautiful and strong learning happens inside of us.   Every single day I wake up to the sounds of birds flying around my garden. This gives me so much peace of mind and helps me wake up with joy and start a fresh new day.   When I travel, I love to understand the culture and the cities that I visit. A simple door, window, a wall can tell so much of history and events in a certain place. I compare this to the wrinkles in the face of people who have lived enough to know and tell stories.   When I painted this design background, I was inspired by the Amazon River by its majestic size and biodiversity. I love to see rivers and how those  big water bodies move and sail long extensions of land. It makes me think and meditate about letting go, healing, turning the page, and keep going.
