During one of my multiple visits to the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, I enjoyed taking walks around Rose Garden. As my son was studying there a demanding career, I saw him suffer so much, which gave me anguish and stressful feeling. No one likes to see a loved one suffer, and worst to see them stress out. Walking around the campus, trying to find some peace of mind to reflect on how to help him out, I found this amazing place called UBC Rose Garden. I started to walk around this gem, which has a perfect view of the ocean, and immediately I got a sense of peace in my heart. The aroma of those beautiful roses, which in their majority were pink, made me feel like I was walking around the finest aromatherapy spa on planet earth.   Every single day I wake up to the sounds of birds flying around my garden. This gives me so much peace of mind and helps me wake up with joy and start a fresh new day. There is nothing more relaxing than walking in your garden, park, or sidewalk, admiring all those beautiful plants, trees, flowers, and listening to the melody of birds flying around you or up in the sky. This is a special moment that allows me to meditate and think about my day ahead. I also love when I see clouds and birds flying as it makes me think how beautiful heaven might be. Palm Leaves always reminds me of movies where they show you how people can survive on islands by themselves. This makes me think about how a big leave from mother nature can give shelter and help us collect rainwater to drink. The miracles and things we have from nature around us are so inspirational that sometimes I wonder why we as humans don't pay more attention to the natural gifts we have around us!
