Understanding the process of growing and learning is a real challenge, but mother nature is a great teacher. When you observe how plants and flowers grow on a vine is the clearest and best example of how we grow. You see flowers and leaves tangle and untangle as they make it to their way up the vine. Life is the same. You must tangle and untangle. In other words, we make mistakes, and we fail to be able to learn. Mother nature is bleeding because we are not taking care of her, and we are ungrateful. We need to act and protect our planet for future generations. This design tries to create consciousness about how we need pure air, green spaces, and a place to protect animals. Every time there is a wildfire, thousands of acres are destroyed, animals are killed, and a great loss happens. One of my all-time favorite artists is Monet because of his use of color and his special admiration for mother nature. I wanted to make my own creation of his famous work of art, waterlilies. How Monet mixes colors and creates texture makes me always analyze how he combines colors to create volume and visual illusions in his art. Traveling around the world is one of the things I enjoy the most. Taking the time to learn, understand and admire this world is the best gift that you can give to yourself. The world has so much to offer and give and is the best school or university you could ever go to. Road trips have taught me tolerance, respect and opened my mind most significantly. They tell you that the grass is greener on the other side, but the truth is that the grass is unique and beautiful everywhere you go if you could adapt and learn.   When I think of moorlands, I always think about how something can even grow up so high. There is a lack of oxygen because of the high altitude, and its land is very rocky. The thing is that I am very wrong about my perception and how I see something! When I go on hikes to this amazing place on planet earth, I see the most exquisite variation of flowers, plants, leaves with the most amazing colors that you could ever imagine seeing in such type of terrain. This moves me to think how in such an arid landscape, the miracle of life happens. Making a connection with our own lives is similar to what happens to us when we are in pain, when we don't see the light, when we lost all hope and think nothing good can come out of us, we forget to see that in those arid times of life the most beautiful and strong learning happens inside of us.   Nowadays, since all of the pandemic and quarantine started some days, it's hard to see the beauty surrounding us. We are all going through hard times, and trying to see things clearly may seem hard and impossible due to all negativity surrounding this specific event. Covid came to show us many things, and as hard as it may look, there is always light at the end of the tunnel. This Rose design represents us looking at them from a window grill, where we can't see them clearly at all, but they are there, and their beauty is there. Palm Leaves always reminds me of movies where they show you how people can survive on islands by themselves. This makes me think about how a big leave from mother nature can give shelter and help us collect rainwater to drink. The miracles and things we have from nature around us are so inspirational that sometimes I wonder why we as humans don't pay more attention to the natural gifts we have around us!
