When I started studying herbalism and healing, I found this beautiful delicate little flower many years ago. I was going through a hard time related to anxiety and lack of sleep, and the Lavender essential oil helped heal little by little. Especially its fragrance is very therapeutic and makes me feel at peace. Also, the color and the texture of its flowers calms my anxiety when I have it in my hand. There is a special technique that helps me meditate, which takes me mentally to Tibet. Originally silk painting is mostly related to China as a long traditional form of art. Tibet has some strong roots in this technique also. As I paint, I feel connected to the Buddhist monks in Tibet and how they use art to meditate and connect to their inner selves. I live in a place surrounded by mountains, and looking at them always gives me hope to keep going and dreaming. I always think of all who take long walks to crown the mountains and all the effort it takes to feel and see that you can achieve all you want if only you wish for it. One of my all-time favorite artists is Monet because of his use of color and his special admiration for mother nature. I wanted to make my own creation of his famous work of art, waterlilies. How Monet mixes colors and creates texture makes me always analyze how he combines colors to create volume and visual illusions in his art. Traveling around the world is one of the things I enjoy the most. Taking the time to learn, understand and admire this world is the best gift that you can give to yourself. The world has so much to offer and give and is the best school or university you could ever go to. Road trips have taught me tolerance, respect and opened my mind most significantly. They tell you that the grass is greener on the other side, but the truth is that the grass is unique and beautiful everywhere you go if you could adapt and learn.   During my life, I have worked in many foundations helping people with different needs. I have often found that living in peace of mind can help heal the heart and soul. Taking the time to express themselves as they walk around gardens with beautiful flowers helps them ease the pain and see things from different perspectives. Flowers are potent and can guide you; as a therapist, you make your patients see how similar we are to them. I love to investigate and read, so I bought a book about metaphysics and the power of the purple flame. It came to my attention how powerful your thoughts could be and the healing powers of color. I read and learned that the violet color could transform negativity into positivity, give peace of mind, and heal your soul. A simple meditation of letting violet light come in your body from your head down to your toes and covering your body in a violet flame can heal your soul and give you peace of mind. During one of my multiple visits to the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, I enjoyed taking walks around Rose Garden. As my son was studying there a demanding career, I saw him suffer so much, which gave me anguish and stressful feeling. No one likes to see a loved one suffer, and worst to see them stress out. Walking around the campus, trying to find some peace of mind to reflect on how to help him out, I found this amazing place called UBC Rose Garden. I started to walk around this gem, which has a perfect view of the ocean, and immediately I got a sense of peace in my heart. The aroma of those beautiful roses, which in their majority were pink, made me feel like I was walking around the finest aromatherapy spa on planet earth.   When I think of moorlands, I always think about how something can even grow up so high. There is a lack of oxygen because of the high altitude, and its land is very rocky. The thing is that I am very wrong about my perception and how I see something! When I go on hikes to this amazing place on planet earth, I see the most exquisite variation of flowers, plants, leaves with the most amazing colors that you could ever imagine seeing in such type of terrain. This moves me to think how in such an arid landscape, the miracle of life happens. Making a connection with our own lives is similar to what happens to us when we are in pain, when we don't see the light, when we lost all hope and think nothing good can come out of us, we forget to see that in those arid times of life the most beautiful and strong learning happens inside of us.   Every single day I wake up to the sounds of birds flying around my garden. This gives me so much peace of mind and helps me wake up with joy and start a fresh new day. There is nothing more relaxing than walking in your garden, park, or sidewalk, admiring all those beautiful plants, trees, flowers, and listening to the melody of birds flying around you or up in the sky. This is a special moment that allows me to meditate and think about my day ahead. I also love when I see clouds and birds flying as it makes me think how beautiful heaven might be.
